Whether it be by motor vehicle or horse-drawn dray, SERVPRO works hard to restore lives after any property damage loss. We have been busy on Mackinac Island returning contents by horse-drawn dray to a home that experienced a large fire loss last year. After our initial emergency mitigation services are performed, we work hard to get contents cleaned and returned to homeowners. This is one of our more unique content move backs in recent years! 

SERVPRO was recently called upon to take care of a large afterhours commercial water loss. Pictured above are two of our hardworking project managers hooking up the desiccant dehumidifier. The water had not been shut off at this business and with the frigid temperatures in Northern Michigan, it resulted in pipes bursting and leaving 3 inches of standing water. Emergency water extraction services and dehumidification services were performed. 

Our SERVPRO of Gaylord & Cheboygan office ladies recently enjoyed a night out shopping for our Toys for Tots donation. Every year we look forward to being able to give back to the great communities that we service. This year we were able to donate $500 worth of toys to our community's youth. 

SERVPRO of Gaylord & Cheboygan worked hard this October to get out and donate 600 smoke detectors and 25 carbon monoxide detectors to local fire departments in Northern Michigan. SERVPRO of Gaylord & Cheboygan would like to thank the Petoskey Department of Public Safety, Otsego County Fire Department, Cheboygan Department of Public Safety, and Resort Bear Creek Fire Department. We appreciate the opportunity to partner up in order to help keep our Northern Michigan communities safe. 

SERVPRO is happy to be participating in the Backpack Drive put on by local photography business. With school right around the corner it is nice to see local businesses doing something special for the kids in our community. We hope that all of the children in the school districts we service have a great school year. We are proud to be apart of the communities that we service. 

SERVPRO of Gaylord & Cheboygan recently enjoyed being the Golfapalooza Sponsors at the Gaylord Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing. The weather was perfect and it was nice to see smiling faces on the Tribute Golf Course at the Otsego Resort. It was a great day of networking and we appreciated the opportunity to hand out some of our SERVPRO swag. 

Our very own marketing representative, Ben, recently took part in the Bear River Crawl 5k event in Petoskey. SERVPRO sponsored this great event put on by the Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders and the Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Center. The proceeds of this event and sponsorship went towards the costs associated with battling cancer. We are proud to be apart of the communities that we service and make a difference in the area.

SERVPRO of Gaylord & Cheboygan pays compliments to the attendees of our virtual continuing education seminars. SERVPRO hosted two free seminars to help aid the agents that we work with take care of keeping up with their CE credits. The two seminars allowed for the opportunity to earn three credits in ethics, two credits in cleaning smoke damaged contents, and two credits for our biohazard course. To pay our respects we delivered a viewing party themed package to the attendees. At SERVPRO, we take great pride in taking care of those who choose us. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed what it means to be clean.
